My second digital painting submission. This is more accurate to what I envision she would be like compared to my previous work. She wields a psi-blade on one arm and a dark templar's warp blade on the other. She also carries a pistol.

Made in Photoshop with a Wacom Bamboo Fun graphics tablet.

Awesome! She'd also make a good looking Jedi Knight. ;)

This is really sick lighting on the blades!

You know, Star Wars was about to put something like those lightsaber arm blades in Episode 3 but ended up going as an action figure instead.

I love that pose. I find it can be very difficult to draw well - which I believe you did. The design of her warp blades is great, and the blade itself is effectively rendered.

Her anatomy is a little off: the arm with the blue blade is a little too long. If you compare her right forearm to her left forearm, you will find it is longer. Note: the elbow is at the belly button. (This fact has really helped me out.)

Great dynamics for an effective piece.

Excellent proportions, and fairly good lighting. One thing I would recommend is adding a little grime and scratches to the bottom of the boots to give them a little bit of a worn feeling to go with the state of her clothes.:)

With this picture you ventured far from Starcraft universe. As I recall warp blades were curved in a sabre-like manner. On the other hand the psi blade was always straight as a beam and linked to protoss armor. They also required being linked to Khala in order to focus the energy. Thus humans weren't able to use it. Still, this is an inspiring work. I would love to see more of this kind.
