@06:02That was awesome. Even at low quality, you can still see an amazing work. I was especially impressed with your work on the lighting and textures (in particular, the floors and walls inside the pirate hanger)
This is not a new video. But it's the only full-fledged production I've done so far. I made this last year for the anticipated Legacy of the Confederation mod for StarCraft 2. Unfortunately, since SC2 has been delayed 'till 2010, the mod won't be coming out until then.
I have to admit that the quality don't seem to meet my standards. This was made more than a year ago, before I learned how to use Mental Ray or advanced modeling and texturing techniques.
I hope you like it, anyway.

Impressive. What's the story, i.e., the characters' motivation? Is the admiral from the film, in Dominion service? UED service? A Confederacy loyalist who plots to kill "Mengsk the usurper" and restore the Confederacy?

I still like to watch this every now and then even though I saw it on CC. It's easily the best fan-made animation made for starcraft that I have seen thus far. Though the voice actors could have been better.
I've seen this. Personally I consider yours better overall. He has nice qualities but some parts, like the animation and direction, are not nearly as good as this.
